| JV Gold Spring 2010 Weekly Update May 18th |
JV Gold Players, Friends and Fans:
52 MUHS student-athletes participated on our JV Gold team this year, and wow, what a season!
The final results are attached. As a team we finished 12-1, avenging our narrow loss to Waukesha South
(3-4) with a just-as-narrow victory over them the following week (4-3). Our individual match results (73 wins
and 18 losses) are a compilation of the top 4 singles and 3 doubles that started each match.
This season was about much more than winning, it was about sportsmanship, teamwork, sacrifice, hard work,
learning from each experience no matter what the result, maximizing your God-given potential, and
representing our high school with a "service to others" approach.
A special thank you goes out to our parents for their support, and to Coach David Frank for taking on the task
of setting up a schedule of opponents for us.
Coach Krall and I had a fabulous experience and we are proud of you guys. Thanks for giving of yourselves
to this experience. For those of you who will be at the party (remember to RSVP), see you there. We will be
shaving someone's head, that's for sure! For those who will not be at the party, we'll get you a
commemorative t-shirt- and have a great summer!
