The coaches would like to take the time to recognize the Varsity players who are not on this list, but are well-
deserving of some recognition. Austin, Bobby and Chas contributed greatly to our team’s success throughout the
season. Although they were not in the final lineup in the post-season, their dedication and hard work supporting
their teammates and pushing them in practice is invaluable and a huge contribution to the success of our team.
Greg had some great matches for us at #4 singles and contributed to our success at Team State. Lastly, Alex really
helped to anchor our team at the State Tournament going 3-0 the final weekend of the season. He had a huge
victory over Will Kammerait in the finals against Homestead. Alex played such a fantastic, composed and powerful
match that gave MUHS the 3-2 lead over Homestead and earn Alex Hilltopper of the Week honors.
We will continue to follow our Hilltoppers over the summer season and continue to periodically award Hilltoppers of
the Week based on their achievements over the summer.
